On Thursday 16 June 2016, Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa celebrated the fifth annual global day of discovery with an exclusive event featuring Chalong Bay Factory. Global Day of Discovery’s fifth anniversary kicked off with a signature bar ritual centered on local craft beverages curated by the hotel bartender and local beverage experts. Then guests were invited to learn the rum making process and create Chalong Bay inspired cocktails, enjoy fresh local seafood and house-made BBQ recipes at the factory. The fifth annual Global Day of Discovery will take place simultaneously at nearly 170 Renaissance Hotels around the world.
